SOMETIMES

Sometimes I feel Like an inventor, brainy-arch, genius like Nicola Tesler
Sometimes I feel a collector, strength like that of a wrestler,
Sometimes my thoughts wonder, helta skelta,
Like a tornado, earthquake, winds, cyclones
And hurricanes,
Pushing heavy weights never featherweights,
welter weights
The Good Lord lifted me to unexpected heights

Sometimes I feel like a champion, conquering my opponents,
Covering each base never overlooking any component,
Medals hanging by my neck, trophies lifted what the heck?
Dealing with bulkiness and specks,
Clearer vision I need specs,
Banging electronic music like the proverbial DJ’s on the Decks,
How many miles have I trekked,
The Good lord saved my heart which was wrecked

Sometimes I feel like a philosopher, pondering and wondering over
The concept of a full life, theories spilling over,
The landscape & seas, the skies, the universe that fill up my thoughts,
The battles that I have fought,
Material stuff that I have bought,
The Good lord reminds me that all my sins he has bought
